Text Flipper

Info

Play tricks on your friends with this upside down text generator. It works on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, blog posts and many other places as it uses standard UTF-8 encoding.

How does it work?

This tool appears to flip text upside down, but actually it is replacing individual characters with other characters that just so happen to look like that original character's upside down equivalent. It works by taking an input such as "abcd", then converts each individual character into its upside down equivalent thus becoming "ɐqɔp" and then finally, this string of text will be reversed to produce the completed upside down text of "pɔqɐ".

A full list of the used characters and their flipped counterparts can be seen listed below. The first flipped character is the one that is used when flipping normal text. The other flipped characters and used when turning flipped text back to normal text (useful if you got some upside down text from some other website or person).
